Waiting on you

Like passing constellations
Who are aware of their surroundings
Yet wishing to shine in ur relm
Brighter than any other line in the sky
Stepping to the sounds of the waves below
Seeking refuge in its tantalizing light
Sulking in the warmth of his rays
Giving life while basking in your bath of pleasure
Rolling over hills and my valleys low
Dwelling deeper into the corners of my curvy plain
Gripping tightly to suckle thy staff
Knowing that it may not last
Waiting to see you in my past
Remember your glance when your light is dim
Still gleaming toward your future
Looking to you for directions
Even if there is a dead end
Yet you passed again
Leaving my shadow behind
While you're synced to my line
Can't forget her
Memories begin to blur
